Thanks to all of you for your love, faves and comments -- they are appreciated more than you know. It's good to have friends here at CL!

I'm a person who thrives on being creative ... whether I'm writing, taking photos or picking a simple bouquet of flowers for my kitchen window sill. And, because the outdoors is full of color and design, what I see while walking our property may show up in my poems and/or photography....

... the iridescent blue of a dragonfly's wing or the fiery red hibiscus in bloom... glistening dew drops on whisper-thin spider webs ... a brilliant flash of wings at the bird feeder. Color is all around us, and it gives our world interest and beauty. I also believe our Creator God designed it for us to enjoy!

On a personal note, there is great peace and joy in knowing the Lord has a plan for my personal life. I want to be a blessing and encouragement to others, especially Mom, who is fading away to silence with Alzheimer disease. Thanks for stopping by, and again -- thank you for your loves, faves and follows for me - Nan Keltie... married to Phillip, mother of six (our three children and their spouses), and a Nana to five grandsons!

I enjoy getting to know fellow CL's and their favorite colors, seasons, etc. The sights and smells of autumn bring back many happy memories of growing up in Illinois ... wood smoke in the air, leaves burning, and especially spicy things in the oven or stove top! Mom made the best pumpkin pies and always cut out the shape of a pumpkin or leaf from her pie dough to put on top the pie. I loved "helping" her in the kitchen when I was a small child. ;-)
